“Padmavati” There Is Nothing In The Name But Your Soul Is Permanent - So Who Are You?
Many people have said many things and many people
have heard many things about one of the India’s most controversial epic period
drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali “Padmavati”.
Earlier, the movie was schedule to be release in
the month of Dec 2017, but it is released in Jan 2018 after the Supreme Court
dismissed a plea to ban Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' and rebuked people
holding public offices for commenting on the issue, fans of the Deepika
Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer got the reason to cheer and
the argument happening around the movie made spectator more curious to see with
its changed name “Padmavat”
The team work behind & achieved success height
of movie in it's first week with new name “Padmavat” has proved William
Shakespeare’s quotes true that there is nothing in the name.
Many who were protesting before the release without
seeing the complete movie, after seeing “Padmavat” they may have gone home with the
question that why there were doing so?
A scene in the movie where Ranbir Singh playing “Alauddin
Khalji” camping outside Chittorgarh
Fort having many cuisine in his lunch was interrupted by one of his solder, who
informs him that the food is almost to finish for the soldiers came along for the war and
they are thinking to revolt. At that movement “Alauddin Khalji” walks in
between his soldiers and plays an emotional drama with tears into his eyes by
holding Khalji dynasty flag in his hand and says that “If any of them wants to
go back to Delhi, he could leave but Khaljis have seen a dream of ruling the
whole world together, and it is not possible without his soldiers”. His
soldiers come in his support immediately without knowing the hidden fact that they
are fighting to full fill Alauddin’s desire to have someone’s lady not
someone’s land.
This few minutes’ scene is enough to realize that some
leaders are good actors who are capable in using innocent people by showing them
the fake images and hiding the truth behind it.
The film makes very easy to understand that bad people
never be good friend, where Allaudin full fills the fourth and the last demand
of rani Padmavati to visit Delhi & get the king "Ratan Singh" released from his prison by
sending the head of “Purohit” who had shown him the way to “Chittorgard”.
Purohit & Allaudin's short term friendship is the biggest example of power with knowledge could be the deadly combination.
The silence inside the multiplex at the end of the
movie asks a loud question that what Alluddin has won after killing so many
people in a war of his lust?
The reel v/s reality was for all of us and
specially for those who was following the crowd to protest this reel without
knowing its reality.
This movie must be an epic period drama but it
displays the story of our present world.
Padmavati’s JAUHAR
at the end sends a powerful message for doing justice with your soul, which
will only be known for good or bad cause after your death.
Krishna has said in “Bhagavad Gita”, this body is not
yours, neither are you of the body. The body is made of fire, water, air, earth
and ether, and will disappear into these elements. But the soul is permanent -
so who are you?
This few minutes’ scene is enough to realize that some
leaders are good actors who are capable in using innocent people by showing them
the fake images and hiding the truth behind it.
