A TRUTH OF 9 TO 5 JOB - Every Morning We Born & Every Night We Die.

“A Truth Of 9-To-5 Job”, this slang exists when this is applied on a government job. But, corporate life is no longer the 9-to-5 affair, it was assumed to be. Well, the '9' still stands there unflinchingly, but the '5' is no more valid.

When we were in a college, we have heard from many of our friends, siblings & relatives of our age, saying hate words against 9-to-5 job because we dream of a loving profession, which will add plenty of money in our lives & give us a bright future.

We have lots of new things to invent, which we think are not even invented till yet. We think our ideas are marvellous, which will make us successful & rich very soon. “We ride a gold unicorn which has a diamond horn at middle of its head.”

It’s a normal to have that behaviour because at the time we have read about many successful people who have created their own path of success and ruled the world with their unique concepts. We also want to become one of them.

It’s good to have an attitude of doing sometime different from others and thinking unique because that’s the only mechanism which keeps us away from a rat race. But as soon the time passes out, we see ourselves, our friends, our siblings & our relatives facing - “A Truth of 9 to 5 joB".

When we run in a race we come 1st or last. But, when we run in our own race then either “We Make It Or We Break It”.

If we make it then we become an “IDOL” and if we break it then we are called an “IDIOT”. So here, we think it is risky to run in “a make it / break it” race, after all we need to take care of our dependent parents, wife, in laws, kid’s and also need to pay EMIs of house and car loans.

We feel secure to run in a rat race at least we will not be blamed if we fail and will not called an idiot. Also “IDOLS” are many in our society & in our books to be inspired with.

Somehow society should be accused here for all these mess-up, because from the day one when a child is born people start questioning :-

Is it a boy or girl?

What is the name of this child, how do you call him/her with? These questions should be asked and we also like it when people ask these things about our new born.

But soon after few months, questions jumps with worries sound:-

1. It’s 9 months now; it’s time for the teeth to erupt.

2. It’s time for the child to walk.

3. Child is going to be 3 years old, admit to a play school, admit to a nursery, in college…….

After answering these entire questions, when a child completes his/her studies, then he/she has to get a job because other of his/her age has it “So, why don’t he/she? Why so late?”

If the child is a girl then she has an option of becoming a housewife but if it’s a boy, then there is no option than running the race.

As soon as the child gets a job, then buys a car and a house to get married, no matter if it is bought on loan and after marriage do a baby because your parents are waiting to become grandparents.

Huff………”Don’t stop here!”

Now, again start the rotations from above given no 1…..“After all a new child is born in our society.”

Do you remember the “Unicorn”? The one we talked about earlier in collage days.

“It’s true that you ride a unicorn in your life, but it is not made of gold and the real horn of the unicorn is at the middle of the saddle."

If you look deep into, you will find that it is the journey from "9 month to 50 years of your life.” when you start at 9 o’clock, it means you are born and when you stop at 5 o’clock, it means your age is to be stable. That is the age where your family especially you’re grown up kids needed your attention and guidance.

But are you enjoying the journey of your life? or only travelling with your responsibility to die one day, or are you the one who is living with a guilt that yesterday if you would had courage to choose your way of success they today you would have something else?
